In short, the human situation goes like this: memory -> base coding language -> data -> external device, I think those are all the steps.
The result is the creation of a commonly agreed upon basic language that is mutually understood, as this is an extremely essential element.
[Cibo's Soul Migration #1] (Soul migration is referring to having your brain turned into data so you can switch bodies, die without really dying, etc.)
At the time of the Artificial Terminal Gene experiment, Cibo made one mistake and died.
Afterward, from the President's concern, she was ressurected.
The transformation process of personal human data - How is that done?
One thought is that aside from the Life Electric Company, Humans who have soul migration are said to not really be people, I think.
Supposing that the whole brain has been transformed into data and if the organism is made with silicon, the process of becoming a clone is easy with Soul Migration, and is very practical.
This is a good preparation to have in case one's data gets cleared.
From the beginning of this dangerous experiment, the substance of the essential part of a person is connected only online and one can imagine how thoroughly dangerous this system is.
In this situation, the brain's interior is sufficiently scanned so that the quality might be similar to the brain at the molecular level.
However even in this situation, the abuse of "Quantumize Noise" can't be avoided as a result.
There's no mistake that some data becomes inferior.
Already, there are things such as the Safeguard's violence.
Starting with the posibility of the above mentioned situation, Cibo's data was to some extent easy to do at the time of her death.
She could comfortably enter the Reserve Electron Field because of that. (I think what he means by the Reserve Electron Field is something like backup data.)
Or, when Killy synchronized with the Builder to manipulate it. The basic language may have been written better for that but........
In these situations, there can only be complete brain data.
Here arain there is a problem, actually, since it's said that intelligence works only through the upper net, so is this a potential possibility?
As always, there's Iko who comes out, but since there's an AI, the circumstances are different.
Anyway, after a long time, data is degenerated through noise.
In reality, the original person, in order to exist as an individual, needs a boundary. This is called the organism.
Therefore, Reserve Electron Fields are from the period's government who used them in order to do what? For the whole body to become a "bara" (more katakana I can't figure out) situation.
But in the end, everything may just become noise.
[The things Zulu makes]
Transmission through the language foundation goes like this, Analog -> Digital processing, then data degenerates and the sequence is repeated again.
Human nature changes in that conflicting way as a result of "Quantum Noise".
Perhaps the things Zulu made were the starting point of it all, but who knows.
In the things she made, the preserved usable clone data might have been composed of analog data.
After the end of Toha Heavy Industries, Cibo's body was taken and returned. At that time, Zulu's preserved life essence of her was probably used to do that.
[Transmission]
Mensaab's method of ultimate protection is full of difficult problems.
First of all, I don't know how or why she changed sides.
Somehow it occurred to her that the ability to transmit anything involves tremendous danger.
The one being transmitted could die because one has no idea where one will emerge, so it is incredibly dangerous.
The transmitted object could undergo nuclear fusion.
Toha Heavy Industries ended the moment the transmission began.
I think previously there was a more natural movement of the place.
But this time, the system went crazy and Killy ended up somewhere in a separate place.
The space he went to is kind of like one singular spot.
[Gravity Furnace]
Gravity particles, the elements of gravity, are weak in themselves.
In comparison, light as a source of energy is small and far away, like ineffective lazers.
(Because of that, it is better to use gravity particles.
Gravity causes things to collapse inward, and a lot of energy goes out. It is possible to use this method to create energy.)
Now as stated, the particles of gravity are weak, however it has to reach a giant range of energy. How does the Furnace make this energy?
There is one possibility to make this work.
In BLAME!, the ((sakuchuu? I don't know this word. Help anyone?)) In the Gravity furnace, it seems like a neutrino is the answer.
Considering the neutrino the universe is about 90 percent elements I think. Aside from that, there are the hard to understand Dark Matter elements.
In various research facilities around the world, in the extensive reaserch of elementary particals has shown that neutrino particles are electron neutral particals and do not interfere with anything at all.
However there is the possiblility of energy coming out because of the enourmous influence of the Earth's mass.
In short, the place where gravity is made comes in the form of the windmill's blade. A current of dark matter flows through and make the blade rotate.
The solar system can move the heavy dark matter with incredible speed.
Because of that thought, a small windmill rotation won't have any effect on immobile dark matter.
[Abnormal Hypothesis on the Gravity Furnace]
It is necessary for the Gravity Furnace to have a stabilized place in Space-Time.
Urbanization developed around Toha Heavy Industries because of the unintentional actions of the Builders.
After the stability collapsed, all of this was lost.
The Gravity Furnace must stay within its limits of operation for the preservation of the it's stability in space.
Once it's forced beyond that, it comes up to it's limits.
It was already too late to preserve its stability, making it impossible to finish duplicating its Space-Time location.
Also, once the replication stops, the continuous system can't keep going anymore and problems arise.
Very soon, the space collapses.
In order for everything to turn out all right, first the furnace must be halted, space-time returned, and everything needs to be restarted.
Gravity particles, which are the substance of the gravity furnace, come from the windmill blade. There is no object which can interfere with that.
Actually there is one thing, only the Gravitational Beam Emitter can open a hole in the blades.
This hole stopped the blades and halted the furnace so that it was possible to reset its functions.
However at the time when the furnace stopped, the whole place ripped apart. After that, you can only guess what happened next.
(In reality, when such a thing happens, the place would freeze over in an instant because of the sudden loss of energy)
So probably, after the system stopped, the furnace immediately ripped apart on the inside.
[Gravitational Beam Emitter]
As for how it can emit a beam of gravity, I have no idea how it works.
However, I do know that the Gravitational Beam Emitter produces a very strong beam, but what does it come from?
It might be similar to the Gravity Furnace where Dark Matter is used.
The place where the beam forms can produce a large quantity of Dark Matter all at once. That enormous mass is increasingly explosive and can destroy anything.
Can it be considered an emitting device which can change it's properties?
[BLAME]
The original [BLAME] (Fourth season award winning work) has in it completely original, I'd like to think, Silicon Creatures with jack-in capabilities.
In the current day's scientific thought, there's no mistake in there being a shift to artificial electric forms with jack-ins accompanying the brain.
The problem is that of human consciousness and wether memory and personality can be achieved electrically.
I think these issues concerning the theology, philosophy, and science of such a thing are on the verge of coming together for discussion.
In BLAME!, the second such things were possible, they were put to use.
((This next part took me hours and hours to translate and I still don't get it all... Sorry.))
Incidently, another work called Koukaku Kidoutai ((Ghost in the Shell)) also has computerized beings in it and it does adress the moral issue of such a thing.
Permutation City, however, had computerized copies of beings, which functioned at the same speed, which was necessary. In breif, people have personalities somehow or another that way, Ameniteii ((a katakana word.. I'm thinking.. Humanity?)) included, and is depicted in golden circumstances.
((I have not read the book Permutation City.. Maybe someone who has can help me clean up those really awful phrases..?))
In BLAME!, one's individuality is free to be anything, even as an electric system. As for ameniteii ((it's that word again...)), complete dependance on the Netsphere is not a limitation, but makes an unlimited existence of nonsense. This is a very dangerous selection for one's lifestyle.
[NoiSE #1]
Here the question of why the Netsphere became an especially dangerous place is addressed.
The truth is that false bodies came to be able to jack in. (As was possible for the Order to do in NOiSE.)
Around the time where jacking in became a common occurence, what arose? The military involvement.
It became possible for those who hadn't died to maintain false bodied soldiers, but I don't think that they surpassed the military strength.
Military force was used to rule all.
The opposing force also wanted to rule, so a great electric war arose.
Anything short of this wouldn't have done, so the Net world ends up wild and filled with decieving chaos - or so it seems.
[Cibo's Soul Migration 2]
Before the battle at Toha Heavy Industries was over, Cibo was killed instantly. As she quickly entered the spare electric world ((through Soul Migration)), suddenly she was no longer who she was.
If that is so, everyone's artificial body comes up as a ghost, and that's not a joke.
The next thing for a person's consciousness is to be buried in the spare electric world.
In that case, the data of human consciousness loads into it, so I think there must be separate software programs that perform those functions.
If Cibo enters the electric world now, her personality data loads as well with something called an application attatchment.
I have come up with two hypothesises on how this came to be.
1. When Killy copied the basic language, he did it for her. (Virus?)
2. The Builder had the effect of doing it because of its central link.
Or else maybe it's a combination of both things.
Having said that, with the right application, humans carring around such crutial data as personalities can have living existence...... As living things, so to speak.
(I don't know if they should really be called 'alive' like that, though.)
Governors and Safeguards might also be called that, too.
[Noise #2]
About that, What was Clawsa's murder probably used for by the Order?
Was his consciousness somehow changed into data as part of an experiment?
If so, he was not summoned by IP into the electric body world because he didn't have an application to do it with.
Instead, data dispersion would have happened and he became just noise.
At that point, in Musubi's real world, it was like William Gibson's short story, The Winter Market (in Burning Chrome).
If the female musician Lise is a human existing as loaded personality data, how does it work?
Outside the net, (In Base Reality), hardware is necessary for someone to load their data.
If someone like a person (?) does this, they end up like a ghost spirit.
[Artificial Terminal Gene Experiment]
Cibo from the Electric Life Company used the experiment facilities in her own way for enourmous purposes, but why?
Some time ago it was recorded that if one doesn't have the right application for the electric world, one can't exist as a being who's personality is just data.
These applications exist naturally within the Netsphere, and if the OS on both systems are compatible, such a grand program can have a small size.
Smaller than a chip, I think.
But, if the right application type, not to mention the right program, loads and the hardware type is compatible, how can there be unknown circumstances?
What it is, is like some kind of game where only the save data exists.
I think this game in an unpleasantly hard variety, and as for what will happen next in it, no one knows.
Anyway, the only way for this game to work is in real time.
Something about it is that save data must be kept, and for that to happen, every game must be the same model and those who play it must have the same hardware.
This is so that at anytime, anyone can make changes that will load everywhere without exception.
when Cibo was a scientist, she must have created this kind of circumstance using the facilities, and in order to do this the equipment must have been incredibly extensive by the time she was done.
That place was established in case the Netsphere's hardware in the megastructure was prepared to go up against the city.
[Toha Heavy Industries' mystery/ Gravity driving force]
Toha Heavy Industries's main power source is the gravity furnace.
Its driving force has two types.
First is the short range force which give minute movements and is a gravity saver.
(The gravity blades spread out and catches the resistance of dark matter for use, much like a sail on a sailboat catching the wind.)
And then there are long range gravity operations.
The BLAME! world's axis causes the loss of matter through a worm hole and transfers things by warping.
[Toha Heavy Industries' mystery/ Purpose]
Toha Heavy Industries was a large undertaking of the distant past, now long forgotten.
It's purpose was to serve as an immigration spaceship sent out for reasons unknown.
But while serving this purpose (Or possibly after it had finished its mission), in the meantime discord between humans arose and they returned close to the place they had departed from.
At that time, fellow human beings quarreled and them along with the supervising AI fell into chaos.
(Because of that the AI as well as the OS interface and administration software had a "logic contradiction" crisis.
It's cause is not yet understood because it was manufactured so long ago that no one can presently understand its ancient workings.)
Further, the cause of friction among the people has to do with the incomplete formation of the Wormhole energy as well as the transfer, and what the result of that would be.
They were returned to their place in an instant via Wormhole navigation in center of the Kaisou Capital.
[Why was that place a fixed position? What about the Governing Agency agreement?]
The population of the destroyed city was not very large.
(Originally the Kaiso city population had a low density.)
Restoration was left in the hands of the automatically functioning Builders.
Afterwards the Toha Heavy Industries' warship AI and the Governing Angency deliberated together.
But the ancient warship AI, having been granted individuality in a previous era, was nothing in comparison to the mechanical "Perfect Logic" of the Governing Agency.
In particular, the surviving humans in Toha Heavy Industries' interior were overlooked in terms of treatment.
The reason why is similar to "Space Odessy 2001" 's HAL.
The onboard AI is given absolute priority orders to "protect the life of the passengers".
But it seems that the Governing Agency has given orders that are wildly contradicting.
The smooth system only follows the more supreme orders.
Thus, both things are negotiated and a tenative agreement takes form.
The terms of the agreement are as follows:
1. Toha Heavy Industries ceases operation. Namely, where it broke through the world's border.
2. In compensation for its cease of function, Toha Heavy Industries is exempt from local law. Namely, it is severed from the Netsphere.
3. From Toha Heavy Industries, once the humans will extract themselves from it, the Governing Agency will improve and protect it.
After the conclusion of the agreement, the fishermen group elected to leave, and them, along with the lingering AI in the interior, continued to keep up their lives.
[Changing conditions - Failure]
Many accidents happened in succession. The AI had to adopt changes.
First, the gravity furnace which was supposed to be used for space navigation had an unreasonably excessive power output and began running recklessly.
And this happens within the world's border.
Furthermore, the Governing Agency have independant power but so do the Silicon Life as their invasion begins. This is when the Safeguard Intervention starts.
And then, governors similar to the Governing Agency sent multiple contradicting commands which started chaotic logic. Because of it couldn't handle this kind of Fuzzy thinking, the onboard AI failed little by little.
(The onboard AI originally had 13 ready units marked off)
[Mensaab - Central AI]
Mensaab herself, under the initial insane AI, made the incredible Seu her ultimate priority.
The AI who had begun to go insane made any contact forbidden because of the seriousness of the illness, and excommunicated those who did.
A few remaining AI on the inside ((Of Toha Heavy Industries)) were destroyed by Silicon Life.
Those who remained assembled to form the Central AI.
(Much like things such as Eva's "Magi" and "Hyperion"((not sure what this is.. anyone know?)) where multiple computers collaborate. This system was used in an effort to prevent insanity, however that function didn't work out.)
[Cibo's dispersion in Space]
The Central AI broke the agreement and decided to move, but with the unusual gravity furnance going, transferring was impossible.
At that place some hundred years in the future, a ghost arises.
This is what Killy and Cibo intrude upon.
Really, at the time (or what time?) when the Central AI got the gravity furnace back to normal, it was prohibited to transition past the world border.
When the gravity furnace's extraordinary power was used, multiple worlds were created.
