It is much easier to mix paint digitally than with real paints! Also, darkening things is incredibly difficult with watercolors. I had to adjust my methods on this page if I wanted to really use a lot of colors. On this page I am committing myself to a full color comic, not just brown and blue. And so instead of this taken a few hours, it ended up taking about 12 to finish it all.
