Hello, this is Jennifer here! Welcome to my Japanese experience!

I started getting hits on my site for "Living in Japan" and "What to expect when I go to Japan", so I'll introduce myself here for people coming for the first time.
I came to Japan for the first time in 2005 for a homestay and the International World Fair in Aichi. I fell in love with the country with the help of my awesome homestay family, then decided to study abroad for a semester at Kansai Gaidai in Hirakata in 2006. The love afair continued and I came back to work as an English conversation teacher in Kobe in 2007.
I've lived in Kobe ever since, surviving my company going bankrupt, lived with a Japanese woman for a few years until I got married to a Japanese fellow in 2011.
Basically, I feel like I know a thing or two about this country.
